2013 Goat Grind SHATS Finale

Hear Ye Goats!

Come join us this Sunday for the final race in the 2013 SHATS: The Goat Grind! This race is coming up on Sunday, October 13th. Race start is at 10 a.m. from the Elkhorn Endurance Retreat, located at 597 McClellan Creek Road in Clancy. The length of the course is 4 miles.  One series champion referred to this course as a "meatgrinder." It features steep hills, a creek crossing, and some technical singletrack. The race will be followed up with a pancake brunch and awards ceremony for the series winners.

Runners who participated in three races or signed up for the series will receive SHATS 2013 t-shirts! The final point tally going into the Grind (Race 4) can be viewed here or by clicking on the link in the right margin. Each runner's final point tally will be based on the best two race scores, so even if you've only run one race so far, you are still eligible for an award! If two runners' final point tallies tie, the runner who has participated in a larger number of races wins.
